Energy Day at the Capitol, March 10

North Dakota NFIB members are invited to attend Energy Day at the Capitol, a free event aimed at briefing small-business owners on pending legislation on energy issues.
A reservation is required and can be made by email to Amy Younger, or by calling her at 866-639-1846. The event is sponsored by NFIB/North Dakota, Bakken Backers, North Dakota Grain Growers Association and the North Dakota Petroleum Council.
It will be held in The Great Hall in the State Capitol. Program details are:
  • 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Registration, donuts and coffee, list of committee hearings handed out
  • 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.  NFIB/North Dakota State Director Rae Ann Kelsch welcomes attendees
  • 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.  Energy education session with Ron Ness, Kathy Neset and Rob Lindberg
  • 11:30 a.m. to Noon — North Dakota Petroleum Council report
  • Noon to 1 p.m.  Lunch on own in State Capitol cafeteria
  • 1 p.m. on — Floor hearings, Capitol tour
