Electronic Filing of Personal Property Tax Returns

Maryland
is the only state that does not have an electronic filing and payment option
for personal property tax returns.  Legislation
was introduced that would establish an online option to the current filing
process.  Although the legislation died
in committee, the State Department of Assessment and Taxation claim to be
working on an online filing system that will be available in time for the 2015
tax year filings.
