raise the minimum wage as early as Thursday, January 30. NFIB encourages

business to contact their elected officials and urge them to oppose
this bill.

The amended version of the bill would increase the minimum wage 13
percent, from $7.25 per hour to $7.75 this year, and then to $8.25 in
2015.
