Real Clear Politics Runs Legal Center Op-Ed on Pending Labor Case in the Supreme Court

 NFIB Legal Center’s Executive Director, Karen Harned, explains what’s at stake in Harris v. Quinn in her latest Real Clear Politics editorial: “Turning Private Workers Into ‘Public Employees.’” As Harned explains, the case asks “whether the State of Illinois went too far in forcing home-care workers whose patients receive public subsidies to pay public-employee dues.” And the decision will have far-reaching implications, as similar schemes—to force private workers into public employee unions—have been proposed in at least 37 other states to date.
