Collins Campaign Receives Backing of Small Business
NEW YORK
(October 21, 2014) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB)
today announced its support for the re-election of Chris Collins in New York’s
27th district.
“As a member
of NFIB, Congressman Collins is in tune to precisely what concerns our
members,” said NFIB New York State Director Mike Durant. “He has a proven
record of supporting small business and a tremendous understanding of the
complexities that employers face.”
NFIB is the
country’s leading advocate for small business owners representing thousands of
members in New York.
“As a member
of NFIB himself, Congressman Collins is no stranger to advocating on behalf of
small business. We have been lucky to have someone that understands the
challenges that many of our members face in Congress, ” said NFIB Vice
President Lisa Goeas, head of the organization’s political and grassroots
operation.

Collins’
endorsement was made by the NFIB SAFE Trust, the organization’s political
action committee. Surveys show that
small business owners are influential in their communities and NFIB members in
New York’s 27th Congressional District will work hard this year to send Chris
Collins back to Washington.
