Business Plan for Montana Released

Gov. Steve Bullock and Main Street Montana Project co-chairmen Larry Simkins, president of Washington Corporation, and Bill Johnstone, president of D.A. Davidson Companies, have released the business plan for Montana.
The Main Street Project was developed over the last 10 months, with input from thousands of Montanans, including a session with 12 members of NFIB/Montana. The plan aims to boost job creation, encourage business expansion and improve wages in the state.

The plan is to be built on five pillars for economic growth in the state:

  • Train and educate tomorrow’s workforce today
  • Create a climate that attracts, retains, and grows businesses
  • Build upon Montana’s economic foundation
  • Market Montana
  • Nurture emerging industries and encourage innovation.
