Another Republican Enter's 2015 Governor's Race

Agriculture Commissioner James Comer used Kentucky’s premier political event to announce plans to run for governor. He announced his campaign Aug. 2 at the Fancy Farm Picnic in Graves County. 

Comer, who received an NFIB Guardian of Small Business award as a state legislator, will square off against former Louisville councilman Hal Heiner from Louisville in next May’s Republican primary. in the primary next May. The only Democratic candidate so far is state Attorney General Jack Conway.

NFIB has not endorsed anyone in the 2015 governor’s race.
