Although the Delaware legislature passed a bill to raise the minimum wage to $8.75 by June 1, 2015 less than two months ago, they are now considering a bill that would raise the minimum wage to $10.10.
SB 176 would raise minimum wage in three increments, to $10.10 by June 1, 2016. It would also ensure that Delaware’s minimum wage is never lower than the federal minimum wage.
Proposed incremental increase schedule:
June 1, 2014 – $7.75
June 1, 2015 – $8.25
June 1, 2016 – $10.10
